  1. The time is around 3 hrs 30 min.

It is difficult to give a price for the fares without knowing exactly when you are going to travel.

Just type in TRAIN FARES into Google and do a search. There a a few sites that will let you work it out for yourself. Just remember that the London station you need is Euston and the Manchester station is Piccadilly.

You can also fly and it could even work out cheaper.

  2. I would recommend you have a look at the following websites before you make your final choice.

Airfares: www.skyscanner.net and www.kayak.co.uk - let you compare airfares which can be pretty cheap.

    Rail fares: www.nationalrail.co.uk

What about coach travel?  It can be really cheap.

    www.gobycoach.com and www.megabus.com

  3. honestly i think ummm nah i dnt no =)

  4. Hello there

The cheapest ticket is called a saver return and cost £62.40

The average journey time for this journey by train is 2 hours 20 minutes

I hope this helps, have a safe and happy journey :-)

  5. Hi, travel by train is expensive in the UK. But you can get around very cheaply!! You can use special express buses which go between many major towns and cities. One of these is National Express, very reliable and very good. You can check out times and costs at their website:

    http://www.nationalexpress.com/coach/ind...

There is a also another bus company which goes between major cities of UK. This one is called Megabus, and is very reasonably priced, and it does go between London and Manchester. You can also check out times and costs, you can even book them if you wish. Here is their website:

    http://www.megabus.com/uk/

You can get anywhere in the Uk using these bus companies, they are both express buses - which means they dont stop in  many places en route, in fact some dont make any stops. They are equipped with toilets and some with refreshments also.

These buses take about 4 hours from London to Manchester, but the websites will give  you the exact time it takes.

Good luck and enjoy your trip to the UK.

    :)
