Transportation in Volterra, Italy?

How do people get around? By bus, train, bike, car, etc.?

You can take the Bus (C.P.T), train (not in Volterra but in Cecina, than is near and linked to Volterra by Bus)...

Walking, since, like many other historic Italian cities, it's very small. You'll find parking out of the city and you'll be able to get around by bike or just walking.

Within Volterra only by walking or max. biking. Volterra is a very historical city, very small roads and very touristic.

Traveling outside Volterra (in Tuscany) might require quite some preparation as public transportation is not so great.
