i want to go ride my bike to school next year but that means that i'll have to ride the train every day. i'm worried about my bike. can i take it on the train with me, and even if i can take it on the train, could someone steal it at school or scratch it. it's a $750 bike. could i play it safe and buy a razor (a cruiser to be exact) and ride it. the problem is, the train station is 3 miles away. will my legs/back hurt? i really want to take the train.

  1. Depends on the train.  In my city, you are allowed to take bikes on the train.  You could find out.

Just get a good secure lock for your bike so you can lock it at school.  I'm sure they have bike racks.

  2. you might aslo look into a folding bike they are allowed

on the trains anytime (as sometimes cities dont allow

bicycles on the train during rush hours

as for someone stealing -make the bike look beat up

most theiftss will go for a newer looking bikes

    then old beat up ones
