  1. they would probably give u a carboard box. but if u live far away dont put the hamster in there. just buy a small cage n put the hamster in there with some shavings so the hamster could be comfortable

    :D

  2. They give you a cardboard box fit for it's size. It'll be fine on the way home, but don't rely on it for too long! By the way, don't shift the box. Just hold it up right and comfortably hold it on your way home.

  3. They give you a cardboard box with holes in to transport your hamster home from a pet store.

  4. they should give you a cardboard box to transfer the pet in.

  5. it depends on the distance if it is a short way just a cardboard box with water and a tiny bit of food  but if it is a long distance  a full bottle of water and a full bowl of food with as deep of shavings as you will at home

  6. a little cardboard box they give you...or if you are a while away from the pet store bring your own clear container!

  7. They will most likely give you a cardboard box but don't use it. I had someone pick up a hamster at the pet store for me. The don't like hamsters so they put the box in the back seat. When they got to my house I picked up the box and no hamster. I looked at the box and there was a hole in the corner. My freind and I had to look all over the car for that thing. When we found it it was sitting in the wires of the car. If you are plannying on buyng a cage when you buy the hamster i would suggest buying one with a detachale travel home included then asking them if they would put it in there.

  8. The easiest and less stressful way of transporting a hamster from store to your home is to either buy or ask for enough bedding to cover the bottom of the box they will provide for you. Hamsters can be stressed out easily which, to them is extremely devastating. With bedding at the bottom of the box it avoids the hamster slipping and banging agaist the side as well as being forced to be in it's own leavings should it poo or pee.
