Anzhi Makhachkala's latest signing, Lacina Traore, has expressed his delight after making a move to the Dagestani club from Kuban Krasnodar last month. The 22-year-old attacker insisted that he has no regrets after joining the
mega-rich Russian outfit.

The former Stade d’Abidjan player, who scored eighteen goals in 38 league appearances last season, is of the belief that he is ready to open a new chapter in his career and has no regrets over leaving the Krasnodar-based club.
“For a while I thought about the proposal Makhachkala club. The decision was really hard. I had a great time at Kuban. But now I have no regrets over the move.”
“Everyone knows that Anzhi is a great team that plays in Europe. The national team selectors will have more opportunities to see me in action at this club. Well, I, in turn, will do everything to perform at the highest level.”

The prolific striker went on to tell that he has still kept friendly relations with people at Kuban, insisting that no one holds a grudge over his move to Anzhi. Traore admitted that Kuban will always remain in his heart.
The Romanian Super Cup winner revealed that he has a wonderful relationship with his former manager, Petrescu, insisting that the Romanian tactician is a great coach who has done a lot for him and treated him as a son.
Traore, meanwhile, expressed his delight to play in the UEFA Europa League with his new club in the near future. The Ivorian striker assured the fans of helping the Makhachkala-based club in Europe.
