My friends and I are 19 and are planning to take a cruise somewhere around Mexico for spring break. Which cruise lines will let us do so without having an adult travel on board with us? If not, are there any exceptions?

  1. you will not be able to go in royal caribben, carnival, or princess. most want you to be at least 21 unless you and your friends get married to each other, and to be honest we did spring break on a cruise one year and even though we had fun it wasnt the same as going to like cancun or panama city,fl. i would suggest going to cancun you can get an all inclusive resort (food and alcohol is included) for cheap and its the same way in jamaica as well. there will be more spring breakers and college aged students and you will have fun, but be careful because the locals are shady at times

    hope this helps

  2. You don't need an adult present after the age 18.

  3. Most major cruise lines departing from US ports (and San Juan is a US port) require at least one passenger per room be 21 years of age or older (For Carnival it's 25 unless you are married.) Sorry but it looks like you are out of luck.

  4. uuhhmmm..are u not an adult with 19????

Well, here in Europe you are legally an adult with 18 and I can book whatever vacation I want...

  5. Ditto on above posts.  Fly directly to an all-inclusive:  booze is then included.  (Its not on cruises.)

  6. NONE, so just make plans to fly down to Cabo and you will have a great time there.

  7. None.

All cruise lines departing from the U.S. requires you to be 21 years of age.  If you are under 21, you must travel and share a cabin with someone who is 25 or older and be a guardian or a parent.

  8. cruise lines require that you be 21 to book a cruise and if you are not that there be someone 25 in your cabin on the ship.

have a good spring break anyway...

  9. See website below.  Policies change from time to time, so you would need to confirm this info with the cruise line.

  10. Your going to have to fly - no cruise line will let you board.
