To start, this is no debate as to whether or not going faster than the speed of light is possible. In that case, when scientists say time travel, do they mean you catch up with other beams of light? In that case, if you somehow surpass light speed, can you see what was before? (Such as dinosaurs or the creation of earth) This would undoubtedly take millions if not billions of years to do, but it seems possible if the speed of light is broken. For Example; Let's say you flicker on a laser and keep it on for five seconds. then you turn it off. If you somehow zoom forward in the direction of the beam and you travel over 186000 m/s, can you see that laser beam, even though the laser was turned off before you began moving?
