Travel Guide To France: Rent Car Questions?

Hi, I'm going France to travel. i don't have international license, and i also checked that i doesn't need international license to drive in France in 90days. However, i couldn't find information that can i rent a car in France without international license. i need answer ASAP, I'm going to France tomorrow morning.

  1. Normally your valid license from home should be enough. Most countries have an agreement for tourists. It's only when you move to France does it get sticky...

    Do check your insurance, perhaps on your gold credit card or the insurance you already have, to find out if you need addional coverage. Don't buy it if you don't need it.

    Just as a tip, French rental car companies often give you the car with very little or no gas/petrol. Be sure to ask about this and perhaps get directions to the nearest station.
