Travel between Saudi Arabia & Bahrain

Question

I am an Indian national and would soon be relocating to Khobar. Please clarify whether I have to apply for exit/re-entry visa each time I would like to travel to Bahrain at week ends? If so, how much time does it take to get exit/re-entry visa and what's the procedure like? Whether employers entertain such frequent request for exit/re-entry visas?

depending on the mood of the application visa officer.. he can give you anywhere from 1 day to 1 year exti/reentry visa...

average is around 6 months for most.. and this allows you to come and go to Bahrain anytime you want within those 6 months..

usually takes about 1 to 3 days to get the visa (also depends on the mood and speed in which the visa officer is willing to process it).. and as for your employer? who knows.. its up to them.. I have encountered a sort of Taxi driver indian national that hires himself out to taxi western ladies to and from Aramco to Bahrain.. (he charges a lot obviously) but cheaper than regular taxi services.. he has to have an exit/reentry visa to manage this...I suppose his sponsor allows it..
