Travel from Brussels to Paris?

I would like to travel from Brussels to Paris and back on Sunday 24th August.

The tickets on the train with thalys are coming out at over 200€. Does anyone know a cheaper way to make this journey?

If you are a student and under 25 years old, you can avail of a special price on the Thalys.

The Eurolines bus, or take a regular train instead of the Thalys.

You can also try www.taxistop.be or www.eurostop.be. You can "buy" a seat in a private car of someone going to Paris. I've done it once and it was OK

try Brussels Airlines or Ryanair.  Their prices are usually much better than the trains.
