  1. I'd highly recommend Prince Edward County, which is about 2 hours east of Toronto.

Picton is the main town and is a few minutes away from Sandbanks provincial park which has the best beaches in Ontario. You can choose between a traditional white sand beach or a sand dune beach where kids love to run down into the water.

This area has a thriving wine region, quaint towns, fantastic restaurants, and great accomodations.

I've stayed at the Huff Estates Vinyard. Reasonable prices, great rooms, 10 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from an old-fashioned drive-in theatre.

  2. Santa's Village and Sportsland in Bracebridge.  They have a great camping weekend deal.

  3. that depends on how far south of Toronto u are. Niagra  Falls, Niagra on the Lake, or Marine Land would be a good place to take the kids. or head to a beach like Turkey Point near Guelph. i remember going to Niagra Falls when i was about 8 and my sister was 6. we had a great time.

there are also lots of things u can do in and around Toronto.

check out CTV.com for events or citytv.ca for local events.

  4. Toronto Island. There are some B&bs there.
