  1. The tube should be fine... they're quite crowded that time of night with people getting home from shows in the west end... it's like another peak hour, and people are in a much better mood than normal :-)

  2. Oh i have been up shaftsbury avenue many times to get costumes for various things... here are my directions for you from shaftsbury avenue to kingscross :

    Dudley Rd / Shaftesbury Avenue

Take the Route Bus 114 towards Mill Hill Broadway

or Route Bus 140 towards Harrow Weald Bus Garage

    Harrow Bus Station

    Walk to Harrow-on-the-Hill

    Harrow-on-the-Hill Underground Station

Take the Metropolitan Line towards Aldgate

    Farringdon Station

Take the Route Bus 63 from Stop: A

towards King's Cross National Rail Stn

    King's Cross / Gray's Inn Road

STRAIGHT TO KINGSCROSS STATION FROM SHAFSBURRY AVENUE:

    Dudley Rd / Shaftesbury Avenue

Take the Route Bus 114 towards Mill Hill Broadway

or Route Bus 140 towards Harrow Weald Bus Garage

    Harrow Bus Station

    Walk to Harrow-on-the-Hill

    Harrow-on-the-Hill Underground Station

Take the Metropolitan Line towards Aldgate

    King's Cross St.Pancras Underground Station

Also, to me it does not bother me which way i get around i prefer buses. its more dangerous being in the streets of london, than on a bus! so no difference really, just pop on the bus. I dont really like tubes... but in this journey looks like ya gonna need it. (however taxi/cabs are less hassle)

  3. As long as it finishes before midnight and beyond, get on the tube. What is going to happen? At least it takes you directly, and quickly.

  4. taxis should cost no more than £20 i guess. and you can take the tube

are you going to go by yourself?

  5. The tube is okay at night so long as you are sensible about keeping to well lit areas, taxi is probably safest and most convenient, I wouldn't catch the bus late at night personally. Enjoy the show, and in general avoid the less salubrious areas and be aware of who's around.

  6. i wouldnt really be worried about the takeing the tube late at night it should be fine. a taxi will be quite expensive but there will be plenty of them around late at night. i wouldnt reccoment the bus because its not greate late at night.

  7. The tube is fine.
