  1. If you mean you are worried about Gustav, don't be at the moment. It isn't in line to hit Cancun. It is projected to go up towards Cuba and Miami area. There will be some rain and clouds that will roll into Cancun from the storm, but it won't affect it that much. Keep watching it though if it does turn to the west a little in will be in line to hit around Cancun. You will be okay...there isn't any need to cancel at this time.

  2. Do you mean you have a trip in the next few days, or do you mean you are planning a trip?

Tropical Storm Gustav is headed for Cuba & Haiti right now, but Cancun should be fine.

As for booking: I'm no expert, but I think it depends on who you go through. Most airlines will let you re-book without a fee if a hurricane disrupts your flight plans; I imagine hotels are the same way. I think Travelocity, Orbitz, etc will let you either delay the trip or will give you a voucher if Cancun gets hit before you leave home.

  3. No. Enjoy your trip. If it does hit while you are down there, you'll be ok and there will have you taken care of. Don't worry.

  4. If it looks like it's going to hit Cancun, I would cancel. And, if you have booked your flight and hotel through a known company, they should give you a refund. No need to live through another Wilma!!
