Travel tips in Interlaken (Swiss) - Schilthorn or Kleine Scheidegg?

Friends, I will be in interlaken for 2 days (only) next weekend. I would like to visit one of these. Pl suggest & also let me know how to reach there. (any additional info is welcome).

  1. i'd say go with Kleine Scheidegg for sure... at that point, you're practically in arm's reach of the Eiger, Monch, Jungfrau (i don't think there's another point that gets you closer to these peaks without being actually on them).  and the view is stunning.  from Interlaken, it's the Berner Oberlandbahn to Lauterbrunnen.  at Lauterbrunnen, you switch to the Wengernalpbahn, pass Wengen, then arrive at Kleine Scheidegg.  you can go up the other side of the valley too, via Grindelwald, but it takes a little longer.


  2. well best means to reach interlaken will be by train.

    swiss has got very good train conections,could be expensive though depending from where you might be getting your train.you might want to check connections on .www.sbb.ch
