I will be going to bohol with my husband this tuesday, Our flight is from Manila to Tagbilaran.

Anybody can give us tips when travelling to Bohol?

What are the things we should see in Bohol and how to get there?

Where is the good area to hang-out at night?

Thanks!

  1. you can rent a motorcycle to tour panglao - visit chocolate hills, loboc river, see the tarsier, pass along the blood compact shrine, visit old churches, have lunch in bohol bee farm, picture taking in the hanging bridge and manmade forest

then go island hopping - dolphin watching (wake up early) then bring a hammock to enjoy a laid back afternoon in virgin island. visit balicasag island too for snorkeling. don't be scared to go farther away, you might catch a glimpse of a big pawikan.

if you have time, try visiting hinagdan cave.

    enjoy your tour

  2. Go to the chocolate hills

  3. i am from bohol.

boholanos are the most hospitable people one could meet in their lifetime. so being in bohol is not a problem. locals here are used to tourists and foreigners.

book a tour with your hotel or resort or an agency. they can arrange everything for you.

as for a place to hang out at night, the beach would be one. bohol's nightlife (i.e., clubs, bars, etc) is almost nonexistent.

  4. I was in Bohol 3 weeks ago..

Take the tour! Youll see chocolate hills, smallest monkey, floating restaurant and so on. Its a must and it is going to take you 1 whole day only. It cost around p2,000 for the whole day tour. If you want I still have the # of this guy who gave me a tour. Let me know.

Go to Panglao island, if you like the night life or say a little boracay look a like go to alona beach they have hotels, bars and clubs right on the beach. Most of the hotels there offer tour packages but i suggest you dont take the tour from them because its usually more money. Anyway, I enjoyed the island hopping and whale/dolphin watching. YOu take the boat to go whale watching in the morning and then they take you to balicasag island to go snorkeling and OMG there were so many fishes even if the water wasnt deep. They have little bangka over there which cost P250 to take you to the sanctuary where there are more fishes. After Balicasag island they take you to Virgin island, really nice. Good for taking pics :) The trip usually last till around 1-3pm and it starts 6-8am depends what time you want to go back but it has to be before the low tide.Cost me p1800 for the whole boat sits up to 8 people. I didnt go through the hotel because it was more. Theres actually a lot of people standing outside and they can give you a better deal:) Goodluck and happy trip.

  5. You may find it a little laid back and quiet for your taste.  You can see it all in less than a day.

    After that enjoy the rest.
