Travel to Corn Island, Nicaragua?

I am looking to travel to someplace tropical, exotic, and unexplored by large numbers of tourists. I hope to camp out on a beach under the stars, or in the jungle. Is Corn Island a good choice for me, or is it too touristy?

They have really nice people down there. If you go there try to visit Bluefields, it's so beautiful there too.

Having lived and worked in the Corn Islands in the past I would say keep looking.In my opinion, there are hundreds of better,less touristed, places throughout Mexico and Central America to really get away from people if that is indeed your goal.However,if I were to list them here they might not remain untouristed and unexplored.
