is southern India a nice place to travel?

yeah its lovely there, i went last year:

here are si=ome tips:

1) local children in poor areas love pens for school, as they are not readily available and affordable

2) suncream is a MUST. It's really scorching out there, and I have a dark indian complexion and my nose started to peel and i had the worst swimsuit marks in history.

3) It's worth exploring small shops and restaurants. Often small restaurants offer more local, tasty meals than large chains and hotel restaurants. Local tailors do excellent dressmaking and very good prices.

It's a brilliant place and the people and culture are wonderful!

South India is a very nice place... The culture & tradition of this region is awesome...
