  1. travellers cheques are best for you.  There are banks everywhere.  Sometimes in school groups other kids can be a little light fingered also(sorry to say this but I know lots of people it has happened to). Leave a copy of your cheques with your family so you can access it if anything happens.  I hope you know that London is not in Ireland!!!!LOL!! It is in England which is a completely different country with different currency.

    Enjoy your trip.

  2. well the republic of ireland is seperate from the UK where london is.

so when you're in ireland you'll have to use  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚‚¬Euros and if you're from america will  get €0.64 for every one dollar  because the dollar is not mighty anymore lol

and you'll have to use english £pounds when you go to england and again if you're from america for every one dollar you'll get £0.49

so you'll need lots of money

i'd say the best way would be cash and leave some in your hotel room safe when you're going out for safety

  3. Get an ATM card so that you can access money in the machines in either Ireland or Britain in the local currencies (there will be 2 different currencies, the Euro and the Pound Sterling) and this is debited from the bank account back home. Do lot let anyone else in your group have the PIN number and keep the card safe.

Also, use a moneybelt for under your clothes.

  4. Visa you can use almost anywhere.

Travelers Cheques can be changed in any banks, but they can be a bit of nuisance because you need a find a bank to change them in.

Bring some cash aswell IE pounds and euros to for emergencies .
