Travel to Ireland?

i have a 5 year eea family member residence card , my wife is French and we are both working and living in the uk. Can i travel to Ireland without any other Visa.

Does my residence card allow me visa free entry ?

  1. As long as your in ireland for less than 28 days you don't need any type of visa as far as i'm aware of


  2. I think you should be OK, if you have a residence card for another EU country then Ireland will recognise it. However I don't think it will allow you to work in Ireland, but I could be worng.

  3. It depends on your original nationality. Your wife can enter without a visa as she is european.

  4. how long are you planning to come for?

    you can stay here fro up to 3 months without a visa (i think)
