  1. i would look at local bus companies, they will do private hire airport shuttles and will save you all a few bob, also a taxi company  will also discount for 10 i think .

happy hols ( IF THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE OFF 2 DO )

  2. I would definately say a taxi, as there is ten of you, you can split the price.

Manchester airport has an excellent train station that delivers you directly there, and at all times of night. Just depends if you can be bothered.

  3. The cheapest way I would think would be on the national express which run a service to the airport, however, this may require a change of coach at Manchester central, and also may take quite some time. I would advise taking the train from Birmingham New Street to Manchester Piccadilly, and changing at Piccadilly for the train that goes dirrectly into Manchester airport. The Piccadilly to Airport train takes around half an hour to 40 minutes. It's easy to find the terminal you need once you leave the train, as it is well sign-posted. Total time for the train would be around 2 hours and approx cost is £13 each way if you buy single tickets, £29 if you buy an open return, so i would advise buying two singles on the day you require them, as not only is this cheaper, but you have less to worry about if your return flight is delayed for any reason

  4. Train from birmingham to manchester piccadilly, then change trains to direct airport service, almost door to door and probably cost less than taxi.
