Travel to Mexico from USA, while having a travel visa (B-1) in USA with a Chinese Passport

I have a Chinese passport, I have a travel visa to USA. The I-94 indicates that I can stay in USA until October 31, 2008. Can I travel on a cruise to Mexico and come back to USA? Do I need extra travel document in order to get on cruise AND re-enter USA?

If your B-1 visa is a multiple entry visa, then yes you can re-enter from any port of entry.  You'll have to turn in your I-94 and then fill up a new one on your way in back to the States and you'll be given a new "stay until" date.

Edit: If your visa is expired then you're out of luck.  Sorry you can't leave the country and come back in using the same visa, you'll need a new one to re-enter.
