Travel to Republic of Ireland ?

can I just plug in my travel iron straight into irish electricity supply or do i need an adapter .question from England

  5. You don't need an adaptor - its 220v; plugs are three square pins; and even if you do need one, you can buy them in supermarkets for half nothing.

  8. The plugs and voltage are the same in Ireland as in ENgland, 3 pin 240v.

  9. Exactly the same but if your travel iron is a two pin you will need a 3 pin adaptor.
