  1. which one do you have?

    1951 Convention travel document (CTD-Blue)

    1954 Stateless persons document (SPD-Red)

    IS137 (one-way document)

    Certificate of identity (CID-Brown)

any of theses will be okay to travel, for the US it is okay, some countries in Europe do not accept it , not your home country, of course it would not be a good idea to use it to go there,

therefore, you may go to the US,

i will check back here in a while to make sure after checking with the US immigration.

this is what your travel document is good for:

    What is a travel document

A travel document is a document that allows you to travel abroad if, for some reason, you do not have, or cannot get or use your passport from your own national authorities. You can apply for a travel document in certain special circumstances, and we issue different types of travel documents depending on your circumstances.

  2. If you are holding British passport you do not need a visa to go to USA.

Assuming you need a visa you have to apply at the US embassy in London.

Or if you really want to be sure call their embassy.

  3. Generally no, if staying under 90 days, but check out http://london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/vis...
