Travel visa requirements

hello i am planning my round the world trip and rather than look on all the embassy websites i was wondering if anyone knew visa requirements for the following places im going

i am a full uk citizen with a valid passport

tokyo

singapore

sydney ( i believe you need an ETA!)

auckland

hawaii

new york

any heads up would be appreciated

  1. Think you will need to check with the different embassies. Few people will be familiar with all these places. Even if they had been to them all. some may have been so long ago that laws and regs would have changed by now.

    Good luck on tour travels anyway. I'll just make do with going back to China - love the people there


  2. UK tourists do not need a visa to go to Japan for a few weeks, but you need an onward air ticket.

  3. Japan: no visa required for stay up to 90 days

    Singapore: no visa required for stay up to 30 days, may be extend to a 90 day stay for a fee of 40 SGD

    Australia: Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) required, but that is not a big deal. It can be obtain on the internet by travel agents, aircraft companies, or by yourself (using attached link).

    New Zealand: no visa for stay up to 6 months

    USA: Visa Waiver Program - No visa required for stay up to 90 days
