Travelers Championship: Lucas Glover shoots 66,  Keegan steady with 68
It was not the perfect ending of day two at the TPC River Highlands, rain interrupted the play and quite a few players could not complete their round two.
The play will start again at 7 am on Saturday. First, players who could not finish on the previous day will finish their round, followed by the round three.
Round two saw some excellent performances by some of the players. The first round leader, David Mathis, could not continue his good form and surrendered the lead to the defending champion, Fredrik Jacobson, who shot 66 to finish the day at 9-under par.
At the end of round two, there were some amazing comebacks. People like Lucas Glover and Charlie Wi, who were quite far off, managed high scores in the second round to make their positions respectable.
Lucas Glover shot at brilliant 66 to move forty two positions up to join Keegan Bradley at T16.
The world number 122 did not have a good round one, as he could only manage four birdies, two bogeys, a double bogey and ended up at 70.
In round two, the American improved his performance and moved up on the leaderboard. He shot birdies on the 5th, 6th, 9th, 12th, and 13th holes but he also bogeyed hole 10, which pulled him back a little.
Last year, Glover could not make the cut at the Travelers Championship, and bowed out after two disappointing rounds. However, this year he has been successful.
On the other hand, the PGA Tour winner Keegan Bradley, once again, repeated his performance of the initial round and scored a 68.
Looking at his stats, it is possible that he may still have a chance of taking home the title. It was expected that the PGA champion would do well at the TPC River Highlands.
Keegan Bradley could only manage three birdies and a bogey in round two. He had a similar record in round one as well.
Nathan Green is still to play his round two. His round would be very interesting as Jacobson is only leading by one shot.
If he manages to improve his score from round one, then the Australian can be among the leaders on the leaderboard.
