Does anyone know if there is a train that goes from Kent to Huddersfield, or to Durham via Huddersfield? Without having to swap trains?! Or if not does anyone know what trains will take me to Huddersfield?

  1. I'm afraid there are no trains direct from Kent to Huddersfield - there are, in fact, no trains direct to Huddersfield from London. You will need to travel to London, and thence either to King's Cross and travel via Wakefield or Leeds or Euston and go via  Manchester. Precisely which way will be the best will depend on the time of day you want to travel. Look at www.thetrainline.com for full details. From Huddersfield to Durham is slightly better as there is a direct service joining the towns - the Trans-Peninne Express services from Liverpool to Newcastle.

  2. get a train to london kings cross. Then get a national express train to Wakefield Westgate. Then at Wakefield westgate, get a train which goes to selby (it terminates at Westgate and calls at Huddersfield on it's journey) That is the quickest way to get to huddersfield.

  3. £1000000000

  4. I would try getting one to manchester { euston 2 manchester at the mo are going for a £1.00 YES £1.00} but you have to book online and have your card with you on the journey. Then get one to huddersfield which only takes around 20 mins and the trains are very frequent..
