Have any monarchs of Spain, France, or Great Britain EVER visited the Americas (North South or Central). Excluding Queen Elizabeth's recent visit.

    Oh,I see.Well,Queen Elizabeth was the first British monarch to visit America.The Spanish/American war was in in the 1800s so I don't think there has been a visit by the Spanish and there hasn't been a monarchy in France for a few hundred years now so,I think the answer is no.

  3. The Queen has been to the USA a number of times, her recent visit was not her first visit. Her last visit in 1976 was to commemorate the USA's bicentenary.

    Since assuming the Throne, King Juan Carlos of Spain has visited the USA and most South America countries.

  4. It seems to be completely forgotten that King Edward VII visited Canada as Prince of Wales. So did Edward VIII as Prince of Wales, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother) and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II several times. They also visited the USA at the same time, in nearly every case.
