okay. so I'm getting a baby bearded dragon on Tuesday. it's going to be in my grandmas house until Saturday, then it's going to be driven to my aunts house and that's about an hour- hour and a half drive, and then on sunday we have a 4 and a half to 5 hour drive to somewhere else.

is all this change and traveling going to hurt the bearded dragon?

  1. It will be stressful for him, but just put him in a small tank with shredded papertowels.  When you get home, soak him in some warm water for 10 minutes to hydrate him, then allow him to be alone for a week or two to adjust to his new home and settle in.  He may or may not eat during this time.  Make sure his temps and UVB are correct!

  2. Make sure on the drive to keep him warm. Use a heated blanket plugged into the lighter or something. NO AIR CONDITIONING.this can give him sniffles. The stress will be high, i would worry if he is a baby. maybe cover his tank with a blanket to keep him warm and to avoid him becoming too stressed.
