  1. Hey, dont be afraid. Just inform the flight attendant that you would like one of them to be seated or to watch you. When a minor is alone traveling they are to be accompained by the flight attendant so dont be scared...they have to walk with you to the gate and make sure you get in the airplane, once you arrive to your destination they walk you out into your mom or dad or relative at time of pick up!  Any other further questions call the airline and they can best assist you with you questions!! good luck and safe trip!

  2. you are an unaccompanied minor, i traveled that way since i was 8 y/o. you'll be fine, just have an ID on you, and ask for help if you're lost.

if you are really nice, you might get one of those security guys to give you a lift on a buggy to your gate.

if you have a stop over it might be a little tougher, but just ask for help and you'll be fine.

  3. Did you run away? if you did go back home but if its on a train or car going to CA to meet ur relatives its fine, i've been on a train to see my relatives in seattle and its quite fun just bring about 100 bucks if you are staying there for days.

  4. You should be fine.  Keep your common sense, don't do anything stupid, follow the crowd, and keep a low profile.  Don't make any unnecessary friends/conversation/small talk during your travel alone.  Keep your cell phone charged, take the charger with you.  Store/know all the phone numbers you will need.  Take some extra cash and/or travelers checks with you.  There is no need for any fellow passengers to know you are alone.  If you are flying, have your parents let the flight crew know that./

  5. how are you traveling?? if you are on a plane then you will be given a temp guardian (stewardess) to help you make your flight transfers and get on your plane and in your seat safely and make sure you are ok and have everything you need

if you are on a train then the stewardess person will make sure you get off at your destination and tell you when the snack cart and dining car are open and you have assigned seats and they try to keep minors riding alone together or without other people sitting beside them

bus you get no help and may have to sit with creepy people

  6. I have travelled at that age, and my baby cousin, (11), has flown into town as well. Even though the airports have strict guidelines, you can still be walked to the gate.

  7. You'll be ok, just sit near the cockpit and keep an eye out for strange people. If you hear " praise alla" worry, but otherwise it'll be smooth sailin,..

  8. i think you will be fine.

my cousin is 15 and he rides in a plane from ohio to colorado and he always comes home safe and he has to do it every year.

he just has to sit on the plane with a stewardess.

  9. You'll be fine, I did it all the time when I was 15. Try to find an airplane that won't recognize a 15 yo as an unaccompanied minor - Southwest does this I think, and they won't let you do anything by yourself (even go to the bathroom)! You'll have a lot more fun if you find an airplabe that treats you like an adult.

  10. You'll be fine. I travelled at that age, and have travelled alone when I was older. Bring plenty of things to do and of course be safe. If someone talks to you, be polite but don't strike up a conversation. Bring a book, even if it's just to make people leave you alone. (Pretend to be really into it, they should stop talking.) It's actually kind of nice to travel alone.
