I have been to Italy once and absolutely loved it. I also want to set a budget, so which is less expensive? Also, is Argentina safe? I don't know many people that have been there.

  1. Both are great destinations. I like Italy a lot, but I love Argentina. On my first two trips I ignored Buenos Aries and spent my time traveling through the country. On the third trip I wasn't feeling well when I arrived and decided to stay in BA for a day or two until I felt better.Four and a half weeks later, after having one the best times in my life, I reluctantly left Buenos Aries.I have been back twice since then and it just seems to get better.I stay with friends in the SanTelmo area of BA and it feels just like a second home to me.I would recommend you take a look at the first link.Alan Patrick. He and his blog are a great resource. He's personable and knows Buenos Aries and Argentina as well as anyone.I think of him as my brother in Buenos Aires.  If you need any kind of help,he's your guy.

Wherever you decide to go,have a great trip.

  2. I personally love both places but feel a bit more connected to Argentina. It is cheap (much cheaper than Italy) and one of the best places to go visit...

You've been to Italy, so I would say try Buenos Aires. It may be a bit cold by May... not too bad though...
