Traveling by train? ?

how much would it cost to travel by train, from new mexico, to north carolina? with two people?

I went to Amtrak's website and looked at the price for two to travel by coach seats from Albq. to Charlotte.  It was $700 and required several changes of trains.  That will at least give you an idea...

The web site is confusing and hard for many people to move in.

But, I'f you're willing to wait five or sixminutes to talk to a real, live human being, call 1-800-USA-RAIL.  You'll have all your questions answered and if you choose you can book passage right then.

My wife has used it with some frequency, of late.
