  1. First Question(water):

    I theory you can keep a cup of water in there. In the wild that is where they got there water, but there are some risks. These risks are as follows: Your hamster may not drink it because they he's used to a water bottle. He may also go into the cup and get all wet. This is bad because when hamsters get wet it could be fatal the only time your hamster should be wet is with a small damp wash cloth cleaning a small part of the fur if something sticy had gotton on him. The last risk is that when you move it around it will spill and get the cloth wet which could make the carrier smell. So I would suggest attempting to get a small water bottle (the smallest you can find at your local petstore) and using wire to attatch it to the mesh(only fill it up a little as a full water bottle may cause it to rip and he really shouldn't need a lot when in the carrier.)

    Question 2(duration):

    Again it would be ideal not to keep him in there a long time, but this all depeneds on varibles. The major varible is the time of day.

    What time of day is it?Is it mid day when he will be sleeping most of the time. Then you couldkeep him in there for a while as it won't affect him much. If it is early morning or at night he may not like being in a small confinment. It will be hard for him to use his energy and also he may get hungry. (Some hamster won't eat unless in there cage just put it in there cheek pouches.) He may also start chewing holes in the cloth causing the life of this carrier be extinguished quickly. In this case it is best to keep him in there for a short time like (10-20 mins).

    Question Three(MAking him confortable):

    Somethings you can do to make him confortable is add some of his bedding that he has in the cage now and putting a favorite toy or hiding hut(place where he sleeps) in there.

    Question 4(taking it out)

    I would say no. But this is really up to you. This could makke him upset and cause some respitory problems. The fabric ones may make it okay to walk through if the dust isn't flying around and is settled but can still cause a problem.

    Hope this Helps!

    Good Luck!!
