Traveling europe (general question)?

I live in the UK but I want to spend a few months traveling/working in europe. Does anyone have any advice on getting jobs? The best places to visit? Things I may need?

All the books and websites I've looked at seem really bias.

  1. Try Malta. Everyone speaks English so you shouldn't have a problem getting a summer job. Try e-mailing the English language schools here in Malta, they always need native English speakers to escort their students around. The island is very laid back and safer than a lot of plces in Europe. Transportation is cheap. Apartments for long lets in a nice area will set you back about 150 - 200 Sterling a month. And  the island is very close to the UK - 3 1/2 hours from Heathrow.

    Have a happy adventure!

  2. It's a bit like you saying you're going to Wal-Mart and asking what you should buy.

It all depends what your interests are, what languages you can speak, what your talents are, job experience, age, etc.
