Can you please tell me some way I can travel from NYC (or any other place in New York) to Washington D.C. ? Like by bus or train or something? Which train should I take or which bus should I take?

  1. I searched the web and found this:

Theres a bus  that leaves from this station: 88 E. Broadway New York, NY 10002 every single day at just about any hour.  The tickets are $35.  It arrives in Washington DC here: 513 H St NW Washington, DC 20001.

Heres the site I used to get all that info: http://www.2000coach.com/

I found cheaper tickets here: http://www.gotobus.com/cgi-bin/bus.cgi?n...

They are $20 - $25 depending on what bus you take and where you are.

Traveling by bus will take approximately 5 hours.

The cheapest train ticket I could find is about $100, and it would take 3 hours to travel.

I searched aireline tickets just because I was curious if it was cheaper than train tickets, and somehow it is!  Delta Airelines, one way ticket to Washington DC from NYC is $81 with tax and everything, and it's an hour and 15 minutes flight.

Heres a site I found that looks pretty good, but you need to enter an address and I don't know exaclty where in New York City you are planning on leaving from, so you'll have to enter the information and see what you get.

So your cheapest way would be by bus.  The fastest way would be by plane (obviously).

I would go by bus if I were you though
