Traveling from paris to london with eurostar?

i was just wondering if I choose to travel by train eurostar from paris to london should I need a passport? I am from greece and by plain I use my identity card and not a passport

I had done that once before and I used my passport abserving every check as in air port.I am not from europe nation probably thats why.I will advise you to have your passport on the trip to avoid disappointment.That way you have nothing to loose.

YOU ARE FROM GREECE AND GREECE IS MEMBER OF EU. WHY SHOULD YOU NEED A PASSPORT? I AM NEW MEMBER OF EU AND CAN TRAVEL WITH ONLY IDENTITY CARD. WHY SHOULD BE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AIR PLAIN AND EURO STAR?

Phone Eurostar and ask them.No harm though carrying your important passport with you all the time.
