  1. hey i might be going on a school trip to nepal also later this year i'd say $100 US is enough per week, that is, excluding hotel fees.

  2. nepal is d**n cheap place to travel. If u choose a normal restaurants 3-5 dollars must be enough for ur breakfast to dinner.

hotels are pretty cheap too.try finding less than 10 dollars  u ll get good accomodation for that ,more than u pay sometime.

people in cities or place you go might be used to foreign behaviour.just avoid outrageous behaviour im sure u ll .

not hug or kiss native people it is out of culture.

  3. Nepal is a nice place to travel and it is comparatively cheap in terms of hotel rooms and food. As a student, you may find budget hotels or lodges for around US$ 10 or even less per night. Sometimes that include breakfast. You can get warm meal as dinner or lunch (Nepalese take two times warm meal) for less than 3 dollars. If you go to small restaurant and ask for 'Dal bhat tarkari' (Rice, lentils, vegetables), it costs even less than 2 dollars. Hence, if you try to live and eat as a student  (no drinks and party), 20-30 dollar per day is enough (excluding travel).

About other advices, I would like to suggest you to go through the section "SOME DOS AND DON'TS" in the following official link.
