Traveling in spirit airline to Honduras?

I am debating on whether going on spirit airline to San pedro sula but I don't know if i should because I've heard that spirit isn't exactly reliable, is there anyone that has traveled on spirit and possibly to honduras give me advice on whether or not i should go on spirit. :)

I live in Honduras and have never used Spirit since they don't come to my area and I can fly direct to the U.S. from here on another airline.  But I have not heard anything bad about Spirit.  In fact I believe most people have a higher opinion of them than they do of TACA or the national airlines.
