can i take my babies usual bottles on aboard with milk already made up?

plus im guessing she has to sit on our laps so do we get some sort of seat belt to go over her?

  1. Heya.

yes you can take normal milk on board but you will be asked to test it for security reasons also only take as much as she'll need for the journey because security may stop you if you have too much.

also yes she will be on one of your laps and you will be given a special belt to put on her.

hope this helps, have a lovely holiday

  2. The rule on baby milk is that you can take enough for your journey either in milk or sterilised water to make it up.

Take a cool bag especially for baby with the formula in and you should probably take something extra for her to eat in case you get delayed.

Baby will sit on your knee and the crew will bring an orange extender seatbelt which you put around her and then attach to your own.

I always take a little pillow which I lean my elbow on the seat arm when she falls asleep.

At the check in desk tell them you want to take your buggy to the gate and they will tag it. You then hand it in as you are about to get on board.

Take the sheet and blanket from off her bed at home to put on the cot in your hotel as it will smell like home and be familiar to her.

I think that's about it ... have fun

  3. 1. Yes, you can take your baby's bottles with the milk already in them: http://www.tsa.dhs.gov/travelers/airtrav...

    2. Unless you reserved a separate seat for her, your daughter will sit on your laps. There's no seatbelt available for her.

If you reserve a seatbelt for her in the future, you can use her carseat on the plane: http://www.saferidenews.com/html/Airplan...

  4. Hello,

I would recommend going to your airline's website and searching "traveling with infants." Almost every airline has a section dedicated to this topic. You can take baby bottles with milk aboard the plane, as specified by the TSA: "Medications, baby formula and food, breast milk, and juice are allowed in reasonable quantities exceeding three ounces and are not required to be in [a] zip-top bag." The TSA also requests that you declare those items at the security checkpoint.

I would recommend that you also read this webpage written by the TSA on traveling with children and babies:

    http://www.tsa.dhs.gov/travelers/airtrav...

You need to buy an airline ticket for the infant as well. You can purchase a ticket for the baby to sit in your lap, which is what I recommend. Call your airline to do this because they will need to alter your already-reserved ticket information.

    Happy flying!
