  1. I'd take a couple good magazines.  Books are tempting, but reading for long periods while riding can lead to motion sickness.  With magazines, you're likely to take breaks and not read as much.

  2. a DS, PSP ?

    ipod ?

  3. ipod? portable dvd? nintendo ds? book? deck of cards? or you can just do what i do and sleep!

  4. well i go out of town alot !!!!! so first you'll need a ipod full of songs , if you dont have one and yr parents car plays mp3's or cd's make 3-4 of music yr family likes as well as you.

then you get cross word puzzle book, or a really good book. dont forget some on the road munchies like twizzlers, chips water etc. dont drink too many soda's cause you'll go the bathroom alot.

if yr into suduko , go ahead and buy one. im not too good at it.

magazines are cool to take, take one or 2. read them all.

well thats all i take on long trips.

oh yeah take a camera (video or digital)

    its fun to take pictures

  5. all the things everone else said plus your favorite snacks! i always bring coke and beef jerky on road trips

  6. If you have a hand held game of any sort you could take that, or a book if you like to read, that makes the time pass quickly for me.

You can look at the licnse plates to see where everyone is from.

    Have a safe trip.

  7. well i could tell you what i would bring and you could probably come up with your own ideas based off of mine.

-my laptop so that i could play solitaire, Sims or something

-iPod ... i when i listen to good music, i'm happy

-camera ... take pictures when you're on the road and when you stop and stuff. my camera is the cure to boredom if you ask me, especially if you have the capability to take videos too.

-my cell phone so i could text my friends

    -sudoku... i'm addicted

-a pillow and a light blanket.. in case you get sleepy and or if the air conditioning is on and you get cold.

-whenever i travel with my cousins, we play something called the alphabet game. start with the letter A and try to find words that start with it on billboards and signs (license plates don't count) and work your way through the entire alphabet. when trying to find words with x, y and z... they don't have to start with letter but it just has to contain the letter in the word. it's a contest between family members. only one person can claim a word per letter per sign. and everyone moves at their own pace. so if you find a word with the letter A before your brother then you can move on to the letter B and so on. your brother could be on the letter A while you're on M or something. it's just a fun game to keep busy.

-bring a friend if you can... they always make things more fun.

  8. Ipod, clothes, pjs, tooth brush, camera, shoes,,a book/magazine,a snack, water, money, whatever you want or is important to you.I usually take a comfortable pillow.. Have fun!

Lol 4 hours isnt bad I go four hours early all the time and its 6 hours before i actually get onto the plane. The trip alone is 10 hours or more for me each time.

  9. ipod, PSP, book, crossword, paper and pens/pencils, a good pillow so if you wanna sleep, and anything that you like to do that can be carried easily around

  10. i spent a whole day in a car 24 hours...and i just slept haha..

  11. Four hours isn't THAT long. I always bring my iPod and I just sit back, close my eyes and listen to music. It really passes the time.
