  1. I would definitely suggest booking your tickets and accomodations in advanced. Bali tends to be very crowded during the peak season.

Some people mentioned Kuta, yes it's the most famous beach but I won't say it's the nicest beach coz there are other beaches which are cleaner, less crowded and more beautiful such as Nusa Dua, Nusa Lembongan and Sanur.

If you want a great night life, hang out around Kuta and Legian area, they are side by side and they offer good clubs, bars and restaurants.

Kuta and Legian also provide cheap hotels/motels at the rate of USD 20 to 30. However if you wanna stay at 5 star hotels, you kinda have to stay away from Kuta/Legian. Most 5 star hotels are at the range of USD 100 to 150 per night.

Browse on google with the keyword "bali hotels" and you'll get the current information.

    Happy traveling :)

  2. Remember to bring a map. Also, book hotel in advanced.

Do some research, check out travel online site for Australia.

  3. Better you book ahead before you go.

Visit Kuta beach for nice beach with great night life and good restaurants.

  4. c-lo, your answers should be right on this YA.

    Indonesian is friendly people.

    Hope you may understand.

For visit Bali, it's recommended to book early in order to get " cheap" ticket and accomodation.

The best place to get all you need as mentioned is Kuta where mostly tourist come down to this area. 24 hours life.

You may enjoy your stay at 5* hotel such as Meridian, Hilton, Grand Melia, Ritz ect at Benoa or Nusa Dua. It's about 30 minutes drive from Kuta.

For budget rate you can find somewhere at Kuta Area which will cost you from USD 30 - 50 / night. ( include breakfast )

    hope it may help you.
