  1. im just back from barcelona, well salou actually, but we went to barcelona for a day trip, it was so worth it . il definatley be going back there again.we only had a day so it was a bit rushed for us trying to fit stuff as much in as possible. its a beautifull city, really stunning . we got tickets for the bus turistic, which was a great way to get around. there are 3 different routes, and one ticket will let u use all routes, so at different points u can hop off one and hop on a different one. it was a for a full day (can get 2 day passes either) not only is it a handy and cheap way to get from different tourist spots, its regular too. so u never have to wait long to get anothere one. we spent the day going to one place hop off enjoy it, and hop on again when wanted to go to more places. we also tried metro too to get back at end of night to our bus stop, and it wasnt that hard to use , cos we were worried we would get confused by it cos we dont have a metro in our home city, so that is an easy way to get around.

Las Ramblas is a great place to go, we really enjoyed it , a lot of fun, it leads down to the port which is also lovely. we didnt get to go to the aquarium unfortunately, but its down by the port too.

Also you could try the Magic Fountain, unfortunatley as we ddid not know we went on the wrong day and they wernt on, only on for thursday to sunday nights , even without the fountain on, it is really amazing up there at the foutains at Plaza Espana,, the views up the top of the steps are amazing. we really enjoyed it there even though we were disappointed about it not being on (esp since we were wreaked after the long day and we walked half an hour to get there cos we were told it took 5 mins) but even with all that it was great there , i think it must be totally spectacular at night when the magic fountaing show is on.

i cant comment on the nightlife cos we had to get last bus back at 11.oo . id also recommend to go see some Gaudi stuff and also La Segrada Familia, also there is a zoo (we didnt go there but i think its popular spot) , and also if a footie fan could go to Nou Camp stadium. even just a stroll around the city and the streets is a treat in itself. we really enjoyed our quick visit to Barcelona and wished we had a second day there, hope u enjoy your trip there

  2. You're right, it's amazing. In september the weather it's similar to summer (it may rain but it's not usual). You can visit the city in the morning (morning in Barcelona means 11:00), go to the beach in the afternoon (from 3:00 to 6:00) and check the Mar Bella Beach. Then you can go out for dinner and have lots of fun checking the nightlife (try to avoid an area called Maremagnum - it's packed with tourists and it doesn't represent Barcelona's nightlife). try the Born area or around Plaça Reial.

Have great fun in a great city!

  3. I live in Barcelona and i'm sure you'll enjoy it,

In Barcelona you can go to the beach because in september the  weather is warm enough. You must go to the "Maremagnum" it's near the port, here you have the Aquarium, it's really nice. Then you can do tourismous, there're two cathedrals. If you like shopping, there's an area with really expenssive boutiques, they're lovely, and you have to go to "El corte ingles" it's a very big mall.

Then you have the train and subway.  There are lots of information places, they'll help you.

    I hope you enjoy it!

  4. Hi There!! Great choice Barcelona is a great city I go every year!!!

My advice is to spend about 30% of your time doing the touristy  must do things ie the bus tour( there are two main routes) the architecture, Las Ramblas, etc, then checkout the beaches, there are some real cool clubs by the port. There is cool Jazz cruise on a catamaran that takes off every day a 6pm from the port, cool place to meet new people too check out this site for some really unique activities www.lifestylebarcelona.com Hope you have fun.
