  1. Get a place as close to "Las Ramblas" as you can.   It is one long street that runs from the main part of the city, all the way down to the harbor.  This street is lined with clubs, and is loaded with people til like 5am in the morning.  Good restaurants are nearby, the harbor is less than 1 mile away where all the big cruise ships come in, , there is an Imax theater within a mile, and the beach is walking distance away.  It's a really fun spot.  The south end is more of the party spot. If you could get an apartment that had a balcony over the plaza mayor I am coming to visit and party too

  3. Barcelona is amazing! you'll love it! Las ramplas is the most known road. if you look around plaza de espanya it has lovely shops with nice bargains. for food i'd recomend "las 7 puertas" it's close to colombus' statue down the port, it has the yummiest food and in reasonable prices.and practise your spanish a bit, cause the majority of spanish doesnt have the greatest level of english knowledge, but no worries, they are really friendly! hope you'll enjoy it!

  4. Hi,

If you are looking to party may I reccomend the 'El Borne' area which is right in the centre and near all the clubs and some really cool bars and restaurants. You'll find some really chic places there. For some upmarket areas, I recommend Passeig De Gracia which is a near the sushi type designer bars and restaurants. A few good clubs to  check out:

    Buddha Bar

    CDLC (right by the beach)

    Catwalk

    Hotel Omm

Baja beach club (cheap booze, loads of hormones!!!!)

  5. Most visitors stay in or near the Ramblas or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. This is a good base from where you can explore the city's sights by day including Gaudi's masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada Família Cathedral, and Parc Güell in the north.

The streets of Barcelona are alive by day or night, providing the visitor with a safe place for strolling around, whether for shopping, eating or simply passing the time of day.

  6. We stayed in an apartment in the Eixample neighborhood last spring.  It was extremely convenient to everything.
