Traveling to Belize?

im gonna be going to a country called Belize which is located south of mexico(not in mexico) in central america the lower part i think and i am wondering, hwat i should bring and what i should be prepared for(dont tell me to get malaria med cause im gonna get them)

great! here are some stuff that i can advise u to bring:

Belize is a tropical climate, so bring the sorts of things you need to keep cool and protected from the sun. Before your trip, you may want to visit www.belizenet.com, a helpful website on Belize that can keep you abreast of the weather.

For clothes, make sure to include:

> lightweight long sleeve shirts and long pants,

>a bathing suit,

> a rain poncho (its being raining a lot lately),

> a light jacket,

> hats (A good broad brimmed hat, visor and sunglasses also help to protect you from the intense tropical sunshine. Remember you also have the wind and glare off the water when you're on a sailboat so protection is a must and some after sun soothing cream.)

Aside from clothes, you’ll need good walking/hiking shoes,

>suntan lotion,(Sunscreen is generally more expensive here than at home, and is considered a tourist item. Not many locals use it, so bring plenty with you and the same goes for mosquito spray. )

> bug repellant,(a little tip for u... Mosquitos are attracted to dark clothing so dont wear any of dark at nite)

>flashlight

> binoculars

> extra film/batteries for your camera.

>If you're bringing cash make sure you have small bills as $100 bills are difficult to exchange and are suspect to counterfeit.

Belize is a great place to visit. You should bring sun screen cause the sun is usually shining especially if you are heading to the small islands offshore which are georgous.

Bring a credit card, make hotel/resort reservations, sun screen and you are good to go. There are many different things to do in Belize such as snorkelling, diving, fishing, jungle tours, nature walks, Mayan temples, etc,etc, and great friendly people.
