Traveling to Boston, MA to Shubert Theater...need a hotel?

Need a safe hotel as I am traveling alone. Also, not too expensive!

Any recommendations?

Agree with salescoach's suggestion.  The Raddison is maybe a 5-7 minute walk... and Park Plaza a few minutes more than that.  The city is overall safe and you should be fine with any of those hotels.

The closest hotel to the Shubert is the Courtyard Boston Tremont Hotel. Others very nearby, still in the theater district are The Radisson and Boston Park Plaza.  They are all 3 stars...about $250+ per night, but are frequently discounted thru Hotels.com
