Traveling to Canada, help with cell!!!!?

oaming Charges for the FlexPlan 9which is what I have) for my Razr V3..going into Canada, are said to be

Roaming charges:

.69 per minute

.10 per text

.05 to receive texts

.25 to receive and send picture messages

My real question is.....

When it sais .69 per minute for ROAMING CHARGES, does that mean .69 every minute my phone is on and is searching for service? Or does it mean every minute i talk????

If it helps, I'm going to Montreal for a weekend.

.69 per minute that you are calling/talking to someone.

you can have your phone on and searching for service, but once there is a connection with another line, it starts counting the minutes.
