  1. we are talking sept 8....  I would wait till wednesday , if the hurrican hitted cancun ,,, i would cancel , they will refund or reschedule..

if cancun did not get hit , go and enjoy your holyday..

My familly is in cancun ,  and they are so confident that nothing major will happen , probably just a storm ,, about the hotel  , they have so much cash and employes that  the hotel will be up and ready in no time...

  2. At this time it looks like you will have no problem coming to Cancun in September.

The hurricane is due to hit well south of Cancun and at most we'd receive tropical storm force winds.  Everone is preparing but until the storm passes Jamaice nothing is for sure.

If the storm passes where it's forecasted to, the airport and hotels will be up and running within days and with no damage.  It's also worth knowing that the Royal Hotels were the only hotel that were able to reopen directly after WIlma 2 years ago.  The survived a terrible hurricane with minimal damage.

    Don't worry just stay informed.

  3. if you can get more than half of the refund and cancell the holidays at work, I would cancell it, what's the point if you cannot go anywhere and take the risk? plus you can go some other time!

  4. that's 20 days from now so this storm should pass by then, so unless another one comes up (or this one destroys the resort) you'll probably be ok.
