what is better

i hear that digital cameras mess up when they go through the Xray same thing for the film in Dispossibles

also would i have a higher likely hood of getting a digital camers stolen

  1. i dont know how you will get it through the airport but, i recommend a digital camera with at least a 4gb memory card that way you can take about 1200 pics at one time and wouldnt have to worry about the amount of pictures you take.


  2. Digital cameras are so much more feature packed and convenient, even with some risk of theft, I would bring a digital camera instead of disposables. Few tips and things to keep in mind:

    - Get an inexpensive digital camera if you are worried about theft (e.g., Canon PowerShot A580).

    - Get multiple smaller capacity memory cards (e.g., four 1 GB) in case the camera gets stolen.

    - Get a pocketable ultra compact camera and keep it close (e.g., Canon PowerShot SD1100).

    - Regarding airport security scanner, I have never experienced memory card failures.

    - Bring an international power adapter for the charger or get a camera that uses standard AA or AAA batteries (e.g., Canon PowerShot A580, A590).
