  4. There's this little restaurant in north Houston called La Maria. It is located at the intersection of Stuebner Airline and Louetta...it's fantastic! My favorite plate is the tostada imperial with chicken...I highly recommend it : )

    La Maria

    16860 Stuebner Airline Rd

    Spring, TX 77379

    (281) 251-4052

  5. Doneraki's in the Barrios

  6. La Hacienda on Telge just north of 290 is the BEST

  7. Lupe Tortilla

  8. Gringo's

  9. Hugo's has very sophisticated Mexican food.

    For simpler fare try :

    El Pueblito Place

or some of the great Taco Trucks along Long Point Drive.

  10. 100% Mexican NO Tex Mex got to www.otiliasrestaurant.com

It is SOOOO Goood.  It's not fancy, but everyone still goes there.  Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious.

I Love the cheese enchildas with Red sauce (I always request extra red sauce, because I could drink it by the cupfulls).

    We also LOVE:

Chile Nogada - (Topped w/ crushed walnuts) Filled w/ ground beef, shredded chicken, or white melted cheese. Served w/ Refried beans, rice and tortillas.

    $11.50 (with Otilia's Picadillo + $1.50)

Everyone that we've treated there seems to like the Mexican Plate, if they are mostly used to Tex-Mex.

This restaurant has won many awards.  You gotta try it!!!
