Hi, im a 28 yo single female planning of traveling through India from November 2008 until end Jan. im interested on a 'spiritual' journey if you can call it that, would like to see the must see sights, do some volunteering and go to an ashram (prefably for a Christian organisation) etc etc. im thinking of doing a tour around the north for 15 days - covers dehli, agra, varanasi and kolkata and then ill make my way down south to kerala? And maybe end off in Goa. Any suggested itineraries or must see places are most welcome. Thanks!

  1. I did the Delhi, Agra, Jaipur triangle. Try and make time for a side trip to Nepal and the Himalayas. It is a short flight from Delhi and well worth it. Have fun xxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Don't expect to enjoy yourself. For a single girl (christian) will be difficult. Try Buddist holiday in Thailand and Lao, more fulfilling and friendly.

  3. Was in India for three weeks, did the northern circuit.

It's packed, filthy and the blokes can't keep their mits off your ****. Be prepared to kick butt!

  4. OMG id love to come along with you!  of course the  Taj Mahal is a must-do visit!
