Traveling to Ireland in August?

Hi I would like to know how is the weather in IRELAND I'mgoing to GOREY I would like to know what kind of cloths should I take with me..and if there is a beach...hope someone could answer my doubt...

  2. At the moment, it's raining heavily, and probably will be for a while. It's best to pack for all events - rain, sunshine, and so on. Certainly rain, as it's the only thing you're guaranteed to get! There are a few beaches around the Gorey area, most notably Ballymoney, about 3/4 miles from the town, which is beautiful and has won blue flag awards in the past, although I'm not sure if it has them anymore or not. Another one is in Courtown, about 3 miles from Gorey, a seaside village that gets relatively heavily populated during the summer, as it has a lot of holiday homes in the area. Generally, it's not as clean as Ballymoney beach either, although I think it too has won awards in the past. Enjoy your stay!
